Other comments: Hello, my name is Jacoby, and I'm quite possibly the chillest bird ever. I’m quiet most of the time. When I do make noise, it's often just a reminder for you to put me to bed or if I get spooked. I do occasionally make other sounds like a small chirp and a kiss-like sound.

Taking care of me is easy. I will eat just about anything. But if you give me whole greens I’ll politely throw them away. My favorite toys are soft shreddable items, including phone books, egg cartons, soft woods, and boxes. I go through these quite fast but luckily this stuff is easy to find and affordable. I do have a tendency to peck and lightly grip fingers when being asked to step up or being given scritches but as long as you don’t make sudden movements I’ll happily step up onto a finger. I sleep peacefully at night, even if you are making some noise I won’t wake up as long as I’m covered up.

Most of my day is spent in or on my cage. I don’t require constant attention or supervision, I’m a chill little guy. I’m not a cuddly bird, but I’d love to sit on your shoulder while you go about your day. If I want some extra scritches I will give you a little tap on the neck or chin to ask for some attention.

My feet are a little funny with a couple backwards toes. But that won’t stop me from walking upside down on the top of my cage or climbing around. I use my beak to help me climb around and step up.

I hope you’ll consider visiting me at an event or considering me to be part of your family!
