Am I not beautiful? Everyone who comes to see me thinks so. Just look at my pictures!
I was relinquished to EBR because my owner passed away. It should be easy to find me a new home considering how pretty I am and how quiet. I am not a noisy bird and am not one who needs a ton of attention. I am pretty content hanging out in my cage observing everything going on around me. I have heard people say that Lorie’s are rare to get into rescue and so I should be very sought after. I am not sure what that means; I just want my new forever home.
I step up but only on the arm and only when I want to. I love to sit on a shoulder hanging out doing quiet things. I am not one for a lot of activity
I talk but it is more of a mumble. My foster mom has heard me meow like the cat, say bye bye when someone goes out the door and I whistle pretty songs.
I would suggest doing some research on Lorie’s since we have a very special diet. We are nectar eaters and so special food will need to be supplied. We also can be a bit messy as we projectile poop out of our cage. I am a neat, clean, princess of a girl who doesn’t want the mess in with me making my cage cluttered and nasty. Don’t let that deter you. EBR can give ideas of ways to keep the mess down.
Needs to be adopted by someone with Lory experience.
If you want a quiet, sweet, beautiful girl to have as your companion please call EBR.
