Other comments: Tutti and Frutti are currently part of the foster-in-place program. They will stay with their current owner until a foster home, or adopter is found. Their owner says, "Tutti (blue) and Frutti (yellow & green) are female parakeets who are a couple of years old.  Tutti belonged to my daughter and I am now caring for her because my daughter decided she is not a bird person after all.  I got Frutti as a companion from Colleen’s One Stop Bird Shop, and Tutti has settled down nicely, becoming more gregarious, using the entire cage and clearly much happier.  These two are devoted to each other and spend much of the day chatting and singing.  I’ve loaded their cage with toys and noticed that Tutti needs lots of appropriate wooden objects to chew on.  Frutti will sit on my finger and could easily, with training, be comfortable to come out of the cage in a bird-safe place.  Tutti didn’t get that kind of training when really young and it would take dedication to train her — she bites.  Neither of them like banging sounds and complain sometimes when I’m in the kitchen.  I love animals and enjoy them, but am not really a bird person.  I would like them to go to a home where they get the attention they really deserve."
